JA Films, with Paul Dugdale directing, filmed Adele during an intimate live session at London’s famous Church Studios. The stripped back performance, captured prior to the release of the superstar’s highly anticipated third album, features six tracks, including “Hello” and “When We Were Young”. The songs, which were accompanied by a live band, have since been viewed almost 200 hundred million times on YouTube.

It was a special privilege for JA Films and Dugdale to be asked to film Adele in such an informal environment. The footage shows Adele totally relaxed, joking with her team and the JA Films crew, before unleashing her astonishing voice.

Church Studios, now owned by leading UK music producer, Paul Epworth, has hostedmany great acts including Bob Dylan and Radiohead. It was the perfect location in which to film Adele’s powerful performance.
