This television special was filmed in December 2015 during Kylie’s first ever Christmas concert at the Royal Albert Hall, London, in front of an adoring, festive crowd. Originally commissioned by Sky Arts, the programme was so well received by the broadcaster that they secured a Christmas Day slot on Sky One with only a few days notice.

The Australian singer, who was celebrating the release of her Christmas album, A Kylie Christmas, performs new tracks, favourite hits and Christmas classics. Her performance is accompanied by a full orchestra and she is joined onstage by the National Youth Choir of Great Britain, dressed as Christmas trees and Christmas puddings.

20 years since Kylie’s first performance at the Royal Albert Hall, the spectacular show features surprise guest appearances from Kylie’s sister, Dannii, and the Pretenders’ Chrissie Hynde.
